Who trains for the highest mountain in the Americas on a 160-foot neighborhood hill?

Edyta Kelly and her husband Wayne did. They had jobs, responsibilities, and about 45 minutes a day. The real mountains were too far away. So they climbed the hill they had, again and again, and made a game of it so they would keep coming back. In January 2020, they stood on the summit of Aconcagua.

This is not a book about mountains. It is about the thing you keep putting off: the business, the book, the body, the life. The thing you'll start 'when things settle down.'

You don't find your mountain. You build it, out of the small thing already in front of you, in the time you actually have.

Part true story, part method, 160 Feet is for anyone who has said 'someday' for too long. It gives you permission to start before you're ready, and a simple way to keep going once you do.

Written by Edyta Kelly. Narrated in her own voice, recreated with AI.
