The content of this book is a chronological and detailed description of "theme songs" of famous Japanese cartoons (this book covers the period from 1963 to 1969). Although there are various definitions of animation, this book basically deals with Japanese TV animation, which began in earnest in 1963, and exceptionally with theatrical animation that became a hit because of its theme songs.<br />This book focuses on "theme songs" (mainly opening themes) in such animations, but provides an overview of the works for readers who are not familiar with the contents of the works. Although chord progressions and other music-related topics appear in the explanations of the songs, we have tried to make the explanations as simple as possible so that readers with no knowledge of music can understand them to some extent.
