Whats gotten into you? Adeline scolds the little beast, as he darts off her lap, clawing her leg as he escapes.<br />Colored pencils scatter onto the floor as he scrabbles away. Rolling across her faded green Persian rug.<br />Youve been so upset lately! She sighs, getting up to collect her pencils.<br />She unites the drawstring of her sweatpants, resituating them over the full curves of her hips before retying the strings.<br />A sketchbook is sitting open on her bed, her half finished drawing is torn from the possum running across it.<br />I look around the cute but cluttered room. Long strands of dried herbs and flowers hang from the ceiling, and if I were in physical form, I would end up running into them.<br />Adeline cant be much taller than five feet, and is able to walk under all the low hanging strands without having to duck.<br />Shelves of bottles and jars line the walls, reminding me of an apothecarys store.<br />Adeline sits back down on her bed, her wavy dark hair falling forward over her shoulders as she inspects the torn page. Deeming it ruined, she rips it from the book and tosses the crumpled ball past me into a trashcan by the door.<br />The wire basket is mostly full discarded artwork. I look a little closer at the scrunched up drawings. The page she just threw is crumpled too tightly for me to see what it was, but the drawing underneath it still mostly visible. The gruesome face of a Wendigo stares back at me from the paper. making me wonder just how much she knows about the Supernatural word.<br />Adeline opens her laptop, and starts typing, glancing down at her sketchbook every so often.<br />Curiosity takes over and I go to look over her shoulder. Shes sifting through searches relatively quickly, clicking through them as she cross references it with the drawing.<br />Found you. She mutters, stopping on a clipping of a newspaper article from 1988.<br />Lizard Man Chases 16 Year Old, Lee County Resident! The title reads. Several drawings of different Reptilian species are posted below the article.<br />Usually experiences like this drive people insane.
