Hes got lists of a lot of media in there that can help you in your quest for a job.

Within the acting industry, there are three wide fields:

the actors

the thinking producers, directors, movie-makers and creators

the functional people building sets, casting people, holding lights, etc.

Movies include documentaries and youtube. There are at least a thousand people making a living directly from youtube because they have so many subscribers that they make money from youtube ads. They call it monetizing your videos.

Within the movie/ television production industry which includes adult entertainment (I created a separate book for that), there are a number of jobs from the guys and gals building temporary movie sets with hammers, paint and nails to the director, the guy or gal who masterminds the entire movie then edits it which is a masters craft, to edit ten or more hours of footage into a good movie under two hours long. It has to be under two hours long because audiences get bored if you cant make your point or get your big laugh within that time period.

The music industry is tough than ever for several reasons. With almost a million musicians in the United States alone, about 100,000 professional or aspiring musicians, why is it that less than about 200 get the privilege to be played on the mainstream media and touted as stars even though there are multi-thousands of musicians with more talent? A few big companies control the music industry. They decide who gets marketed.

Its also tougher because you got way more competition now that every musician is on youtube.

People dont buy many mp3s. I use a youtube to mp3 program to get any music I want for free. You have to make your money through live ticket sales and merchandise sales like t-shirts.

Live theatre covers not only plays but any type of live performing art like a magic show, circus show, freak theater, puppetry, mime, etc. If it could be a Vegas show, then its live theatre.

Even live entertainment is skewed nowadays. The last time I watched a Got Talent TV show, some ten-year-old girl won, beating out seasoned adults with good acts because of the fickle public voting. They didnt want to hurt her feelings I guess but get real. Ten-year old singers who want to be pop stars are a dime a dozen. Its like so what. Ive seen it 10,000 times.

Justin Bieber types are generic. Theyre all the same. He was the next teen heart throb to tween girls then when he hit 22 and was thrown on the scrap heap he felt like a heel for being homeys boy just for the money. He was marketed by greedy capitalists who got most of the money he earned but he got a good pile too. Who remembers David Cassidy, Tony DiFranco and that guy who was on Surreal Life, Leif Garret, still painting his nails at middle age?

My only answer is do it because you love it but almost everybody is a prostitute nowadays trying some gimmick because they want the big score. The only true artists are a few buskers, the actors in small live theater playhouses and the people on youtube who create great videos without trying to be stars.

Other than that, so what. If its money you want, study a worthy profession that creates things that help people.

Fame cant help you when youre by yourself in your head which is most of the time. A jerk is a jerk is a jerk. It doesnt matter if others call them a star or celebrity. I look at some of the people who were big celebrities ten or twenty years ago. Theyre just overweight, middle-aged duds.

I look at the sex symbols from twenty years ago. Theyre frumps.

The entertainment moguls built them up to make money from them ...
...1230005246953_Tony Kelbratlibro_electonico_41ac3031-f476-3e2a-8251-80542f43287c_1230005246953;1230005246953_1230005246953Tony KelbratInglésMéxicohttps://getbook.kobo.com/koboid-prod-public/12d7ff06-67b6-442c-907a-3b18db3caffd-epub-1d557bdc-8f71-471b-bc3c-a57e1ab0e421.epub2021-11-02T00:00:00+00:00Tony Kelbrat
