Jim Nash, wife Maddie, and faithful dog Friday are sitting pretty. They’ve got all the money in the world, not to mention some pretty fancy imported lawn furniture.

Thanks to their connection to Harry Delany and his motley crew of misfits, the good times keep rolling in.

Maddie enrolls Ramona, their latest addition to the family, in a prestigious private school. It takes a briefcase of full of cash to do it. When the registrar reads Maddie’s business card, she tucks it away in a drawer.

Several days later, Maddie gets a call about the registrar’s missing daughter. She’s been gone for two days. With no time to waste, Maddie askes Luz if she’ll help find the girl. Her thinking is, if Luz can track down cartel families hiding out in a huge city, a missing schoolgirl shouldn’t be much of a problem.

Luz agrees to take the case. There’s only one problem. She needs bait.
