BONG! PING! HUMMM!

When the market is closed and the sky is growing dark, four butterfly friends play a song before sleep. The red one lands on the big red pepper. The green one lands on the thin green pepper. The yellow one lands on the long yellow pepper. Each pepper rings out like a bell.

Then Lumi, the smallest butterfly, lands on the last little pepper... and nothing happens. She tries every pepper. Not a thing. But when the peppers keep on ringing and nobody can sleep, Lumi folds her soft white wings, and the whole stand finds out what her quiet can do.

Bong Goes the Bell Pepper is a gentle, rhyming bedtime picture book about friendship, being small, and the gift of quiet. Its sounds get softer page by page, so the story itself helps little ones wind down, and it ends by inviting your child to be the hush.
