Lucy thought he was just a kid. A trainee. A joke. She was dead wrong.

One night of tequila was all it took to shatter Officer Lucy’s world. She’s the professional, the one in control, the one who wears the killer black stilettos and keeps everyone at a distance. Mason Jenkins was just the 'nice guy' colleague—until she sat on his lap and felt the electricity that’s now ruining her life.

Mason has spent years in the friend zone, the reliable trainee everyone talks to about the men they actually want. But Lucy was his first. And now that he’s had a taste of her, he’s not going back. He doesn’t care about the career-ending scandal or the gossip-hungry cops placing bets in the next room. He’s seen Lucy on her knees, and he’s decided she’s his.

As the office closes in on the identity of the 'restroom lovebirds,' Lucy is desperate to pretend nothing happened. But Mason is pinning her against the metal filing cabinets in the basement, proving that his devotion is as fierce as his hunger.

He’s not a boy anymore. He’s the man who’s going to own her.
