You get a chance to look at yourself within the relationship and see your partner moving within it, with you. Like a step back to see more clearly.
I enjoyed the practical and insightful exercises. I am taking my time to move through the steps. I feel as though I have an opportunity to really grow to appreciate myself within a healthy, loving relationship where imperfection is honored.

This is a great book for those looking for an intro course in relaitonship dynamics. Joe and Savannah present the information clearly and take the time to explain concepts pulled from several of the most prominent relational theories. A must read for those looking to educate themselves further about how to improve their relationship!

Joe Whitcomb and Savannah Ellis really know what theyre talking about, and its clear they have the experience and research to back up what they teach and practice. This book was an easy read and the writing was clear. Their passion for helping relationships is evident, and I learned so much about my own relationship by reading this book. As Joe says, it only takes one of you to change the dance of the relationship, so whether you read this book alone, or with your partner, youll get something out of it.

Joe and Savannah are very depth counslers in relating to and pointing a relationship needs and understandingin the right direction. Guiding you on a clear path to looking into the others needs and holding you accountable to your own contribution to the marriage. Wether be the distraction, contribution and/or destruction of the relationship. This book is your inlightment to your own self preservation of your marriage or relationship.
