This one went bad.</p><p>Everything went to hell.</p><p>The bad misunderstanding that resulted from the political comment about the Neokons in town made things worse. The Kool-Ray Brothers didnt want any trouble from local racists so they pulled out of the company alliance and left town.</p><p>There was an explosion just before I awoke from the dream in the early morning dark, at the edge of the blight, and the shock of the explosion sharpened my senses, as i feared for my counterparts life.</p><p>It was all happening again, much as it had happened within the parallel I was in now, just a couple of years ago. It was all falling to pieces, just as it had before, only it was happening in a "close parallel" where another "close counterpart" resided, possibly Aton 5.785 or Aton 5.875.</p><p>I estimated my own position within the mulitiverse to be so far to the right, into the edge of the lifeless blight, that it had to be at least Aton 5.885, Aton 5.895, or further.</p><p>Before the misunderstanding in town, I had nothing to lose but my chains and the hope for a better future.
