Praying to God is an act of humility and recognition of our spiritual smallness and urgent need to be rescued and transferred to an upper kingdom, the kingdom of God, and of our need of light, guidance and protection from this dark world whose ruler is noticeably Satan.

It is no surprise why Jesus, when He was in this shadowy earth, prayed so frequently alone in the mountains of Galilee to communicate with His Father in Heaven, and receive His loving guidance.

Prayer can restore our fallen natures, weak and subject to corruption, by strengthening our souls to be sensitive, with a pure heart, to the action of the Holy Spirit and can provide us this way with a divine knowledge unattainable by our limited minds, whose reasoning is not able to find a Creator other than the Big Bang.

Prayer can even - empowered by the Holy Spirit - help us to recover our pre-adamic natures, radically changing our lives so that we can enjoy the presence of God constantly.

Prayer can be for us – if we allow it - the permanent breath of God that has been suppressed from our beings due to our unrighteous lives. And this will inaugurate a spiritual life in which our bodies could be in complete subjection to our souls.

And this way of life – maintaining the harmony of the spirit through our prayer, which is faith in action - will definitely be for us to follow the mission given to us by Jesus Christ -of putting on the new man, created after the likeness of God - as we continue to live in this dark world.
