Russell Grant can fix anything that breaks. Except the silence between him and the man he wants.

At forty-four, Russell has built his life around three things: hard work, careful routines, and keeping his feelings to himself. Divorced, guarded, and finally within reach of a promotion, he needs the historic Ashby Grand restoration to go exactly according to plan.

Then he gets assigned Nico Flores.

Thirty-two, tattooed, relentlessly funny, and brilliant with machinery, Nico is everything Russell isn't. He's also openly gay, fiercely independent, and absolutely finished being somebody's experiment.

But when a thunderstorm traps them inside a stalled elevator, the attraction they've been pretending not to notice becomes impossible to ignore.

One unexpected kiss changes everything.

Soon, eight weeks of working together turn into stolen nights, midnight coffee, breathless kisses, and a love Russell never knew he was allowed to want.

For the first time in his life, he's falling for a man.

And Nico is falling for someone who still struggles to say what he feels.

As a career-changing promotion approaches and Nico's carefully guarded plans threaten everything they're building, both men discover that keeping secrets can be more dangerous than telling the truth.

Russell knows how to repair almost anything.

But if he wants a future with Nico, he'll have to learn that some things can't be fixed with his hands.

A passionate, high-heat MM romance featuring a twelve-year age gap, bisexual awakening, blue-collar heroes, workplace complications, emotional vulnerability, and a hard-earned happily ever after.
