Mia's weekend at Grandpa's house turns into a trip to Mars! Grandpa needs his bicycle pump back from Allen the alien, so he and Mia build a cardboard rocket and blast off into space. Along the way they bat away asteroids, feed cheese to a giant space worm, roar at a blue Teri in the alien city of Atmos, and play laser tag with Allen's kids before heading home for pizza.

A warm, funny bedtime story for children ages 3–8, perfect for reading aloud or listening together at bedtime.

About the Grandpa's House series

Visiting Grandpa is always an adventure. With his big imagination and a little bit of silliness, ordinary games turn into something much bigger: a cardboard rocket flies to space, the garden leads back to the time of the dinosaurs, and the backyard pool becomes a journey beneath the waves.
