He watches. He waits. And when he decides something is his, God help anyone who tries to take it.

Judge has run the Deadwood Hangmen MC with an iron hand and a patient mind for twenty years. His word is law in the Northern Black Hills, his brothers would die for him without hesitation, and the only thing missing from his life has been sitting behind a diner counter three miles down the mountain, pouring his coffee every morning like he's just another customer.

Maggie Renner doesn't need a man. She's held her father's diner together through a bad marriage, a worse economy, and nine years of standing alone. Her name is on the deed, her mortgage is paid, and she answers to no one — especially not the dangerously quiet biker who takes the corner booth at seven sharp and tips too much.

Then a Rapid City crime family decides her block is their next payday, and the bricks and the fires start coming. Maggie can handle a shotgun and a threat, but she can't fight a whole crew alone — and Judge isn't asking permission to protect what's on his ground.

She's not his to protect. She'll make damn sure he knows it.

But the closer the danger pushes them together — into his compound, into his war, into his bed — the harder it gets to remember where her stubbornness ends and his claiming begins. Because Judge doesn't just want to save her diner.

He wants her. All of her. And he's done waiting.

JUDGE'S VERDICT is book 1 in the Deadwood Hangmen MC Series. No cliffhanger. HEA guaranteed.
