Con el presente libro, Jaime Mercant Simó, haciendo un análisis pormenorizado de Geist in Welt (Espíritu en el mundo), demuestra cómo el doctor Rahner, mediante su Erkenntnismetaphysik (metafísica del conocimiento), tergiversa los principios de la metafísica y la gnoseología tomistas prácticamente en su totalidad, llevando el cogito cartesiano hasta sus últimas consecuencias, identificando en el hombre el ser, el conocer y el ser conocido. Amb el present llibre, Jaume Mercant Simó, fent una anlisi detallada de Geist in Welt ( Esperit en el món), demostra com el doctor Rahner, mitjanant la seva Erkenntnismetaphysik ( metafísica del coneixement), tergiversa els principis de la metafísica i la gnoseologia tomistes prcticament en la seva totalitat, portant el cogito cartesi fins a les últimes conseqüncies, identificant en lhome el ser, el conixer i el ser conegut. In order to properly understand this Freiburg theologian, it is necessary to analyze it from its philosophical foundations. With this book, Jaime Mercant Simó, making a detailed analysis of Geist in Welt (Spirit in the world), demonstrates how Dr. Rahner, through his Erkenntnismetaphysik (metaphysics of knowledge), misrepresents the principles of Thomistic metaphysics and gnoseology practically in its entirety, taking the Cartesian cogito to its ultimate consequences, identifying in man the being, the knowing and the known being.
