Before the world knew the name Kenneth Bless World, there was a boy in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, who heard music in everything — in screen doors, in rain, in silence itself.

This is his story, told the way it deserves to be told.

Three hundred songs recorded in the dark. A shelf of books across every genre — horror, romance, poetry, faith. Paintings where pain learned to be beautiful. And behind it all, the honest labor most people never see: the caregiving, the landscaping, the warehouse shifts that funded the dream and dignified it.

Written by Jonah Cross, Made of Light is an intimate portrait of a creator who refused to stay in the darkness he was handed — and built a lantern out of everything he had. Anchored by the verse that carried him — 'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it' (John 1:5) — this is a book for anyone still in the dark, and anyone who needs proof that amazing is a decision, not an accident.
