'I'm so sorry, sweetheart.' I haven't heard from my husband for seven days, and this is all he has to say. I stroke our son's hair and pretend everything is fine. Most wives would be grateful to have him home, but he isn't telling me everything. And I will find out what he's hiding.

Rowan: I can barely hold it together when my husband Wyatt doesn't come back from his work trip. But the relief I feel when he's home quickly turns to suspicion. The 'missing' phone, avoiding family time, the strange scar—I know he's hiding something.

But panic hits as his behavior gets stranger. What if he's found out my secret? If he knows, our perfect life is over . . .

Wyatt: I love my wife. Even though I don't tell her everything about my business trips. But when I wake up in the hospital, all I know is: this time, Rowan can never find out the truth.

And not just because she'd leave me. The scar on my side isn't the only thing I'm keeping from her . . . because if my dark past came out, now that I'm home, my whole family would be in danger.

A husband with a past. A wife with a secret.

And someone out there will do anything to get to them . . .

Never Come Back
