Nothing here is a theory. Every word of it is on the record.

From the chemical cartel of IG Farben to the laboratories, contracts and policies of 2026, this is the documented history of chemical and biological warfare, and of the institutions, industries and incentives that grew up around it. It is built from public sources: court filings, congressional records, declassified files, government reports and published history.

And the record is enough.

Follow the line from Nuremberg and Operation Paperclip to the Cold War laboratories of Edgewood, Porton Down and Biopreparat. From open-air tests over American cities to the poisoned ground and water at Anniston, Fort McClellan and Camp Lejeune. From the anthrax vaccine mandate to the anthrax letters of 2001 and the guaranteed market built in their wake. From liability shields and emergency authorizations to the pandemic years and the record as it stands today.

What emerges is not a conspiracy. It is something harder to dismiss: an emergent architecture, assembled decade by decade out of incentive structures, institutional agendas and plain human sin, visible to anyone willing to read what has already been admitted. Every chapter is measured against one standard, first set down in 1891: Who bears the risk? Who gave consent? Who can get a remedy? And one question runs beneath it all: if this much can be proven from what is already admitted, how much more remains?

Woven through the record is the author's own testimony, from a soldier who served at Fort McClellan, stood in the anthrax shot lines in 1998, and sat in the 1999 anthrax briefing at Dover Air Force Base.

But this book does not end in the dark.

Its closing chapter turns to the present: protein design that once meant screening a billion candidates, now done by software; new materials discovered by self-driving laboratories; a heat shield that brought astronauts home from circling the Moon; and an artificial intelligence race moving faster than any law written to govern it. The same tools that could repeat the worst of this history could also cure, protect and heal on a scale no generation has known. Which way it goes is not yet settled. It will be chosen by the scientists, engineers, physicians and leaders building what comes next, and they can still choose to be led by wisdom.

Our future is not yet written. This book is offered in hope, and in faith, that we will write it well.

Ephesians 6:12 - 'For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places.'
