Mason Marcotte has reached scouting's highest rank, but something's missing.

After Mason Marcotte graduates from high school and earns the scouting rank of Guardian Trailblazer, life remains strangely incomplete. He was never like the other scouts, and not just because he's a late bloomer. With one summer left before college, he embarks on an unforgettable journey to Camp Hardwood. Guided by handsome, enigmatic Scoutmaster Clark and challenged by the imposing presence of fellow scout Quamir Madison, Mason pitches a tent amid tension, mystery, and fierce desire. Can Scoutmaster Clark help make a man of him in one long weekend?
