A house with no address, in the middle of the desert. A listing that sounded too good. And a piece of fine print Romy only takes seriously once the bus is already gone.

Romy is twenty-five, German, stranded in the States for months, broke and without a return flight. The listing promises room and board, generous pay and absolute discretion. She taps Accept. At the end of the only road waits a luxury hotel where nobody comes just to eat: here, wealthy gentlemen are waited on by women who wear a collar, a number instead of a name, and clothing that hides nothing.

On the first evening Romy is only allowed to watch. Vera, the experienced waitress with the calm voice, shows her the kitchen, the dining hall and the carrying drill on the rope. But a small light on her collar tells the whole room what her body has long since admitted while her head still fights it. From now on she is Number Fourteen. And tomorrow the grace period ends.

Part 1 of the four-part series 'Served': dark BDSM erotica about shame, display and a surrender that grows step by step. Dark romance for adult readers 18+. Fiction between consenting adults.

EXCERPT: I picked it up. It was heavy, good paper, cream-colored, and at the top, in an elegant script, it read Weekly Schedule — No. 14. I read it twice and didn't understand it, and then I read on, and I went cold, even though the room was warm. Day 1: Shadowing the serving team, lower floor. You observe and learn. You wear the provided clothing. You speak only when spoken to. Below that Day 2, Day 3, a whole week, in bullet points I grazed with my eyes and didn't let into me. And at the very bottom, in a smaller line: You will no longer need your bag. Clothing, food, and everything else will be provided. Your former property will be stored and returned to you at the end of the employment. At the end of the employment. I stood with the sheet in my hand and realized I hadn't read anywhere when that was.
