She came to Alaska for one day. The storm gave her one night with the bush pilot.

Seattle appraiser Sadie Quinn has one job in Halibut Creek: put a number on a crumbling waterfront plant for a developer, then catch the six-forty out of Juneau. She's very good at leaving. She's been doing it her whole life.

Bush pilot Jesse Lund flies the mail run in a 1956 floatplane and never stays the night anywhere. It's his one rule, and he has his reasons.

Then a storm slams into the island. Every flight is grounded, every bed in town is taken, and the only room left is upstairs at the Silver Siren, the town's one bar. One room. One bed. One very small rug.

They agree on one night. Nobody gets the wrong idea. But half the town thinks she's here to destroy it, her boss wants a number she refuses to write, and Jesse can't stop remembering how she takes her coffee.

Two people who are experts at leaving are about to find out what it costs to stay.

Stranded with the Bush Pilot is the romantic prequel to the Alaska Spice in Halibut Creek series.
