She told a meth kingpin no. Then the MC president showed up to make sure she survived it.

Clara Engstrom has spent three years rebuilding her grandmother's bakery from nothing—eighteen-hour days, an SBA loan that keeps her up at night, and a stubborn refusal to quit. When a drug lord decides her corner belongs to him, she does what she's always done: stands her ground and tells him to go to hell.

Then his enforcers smash her display cases and give her three days to sign over everything she loves.

Summit didn't become president of the Black Hills Reapers by letting predators operate in his territory. When he walks into a flour-dusted bakery and finds a woman with fire in her eyes and glass in her hair, something shifts. She's not club business. She's not a responsibility.

She's his.

Clara doesn't need a white knight—especially not one who throws men through windows and speaks in commands instead of requests. But when Summit's protection is the only thing standing between her and men who burn buildings to make points, she discovers that strength isn't always fighting alone.

Sometimes it's letting the right man fight beside you.

As the war with a brutal meth operation escalates, Clara finds herself pulled deeper into a world of chrome and leather, brotherhood and violence. Summit breaks every rule he's made about keeping people at arm's length. And when her grandmother's legacy goes up in flames, they'll burn down an empire together—or die trying.

SUMMIT'S STAND is Book 1 in the Black Hills Reapers MC series.
