Gemma Lewis is forty-one, newly divorced, and perfectly capable of going on holiday without being fixed.

Her friends disagree.

They've booked a gorgeous Mallorcan villa, printed a laminated recovery itinerary, packed a glittery DIVORCED NOT DEAD sash, and formed an actual committee. Gemma wanted a quiet week by the pool. Apparently, she's getting a full-scale relaunch.

Then there's Alice Morgan.

The unexpected sixth guest is a forty-three-year-old Welsh landscape architect with silver at her temples, a wickedly dry sense of humor, and absolutely no interest in telling Gemma how to live her life.

Their bedrooms just happen to have neighboring balconies.

And suddenly, Gemma has some very interesting ideas about what she wants.

What begins with stolen glances and one dangerously flirtatious lunch becomes a week of secret kisses, breathtaking firsts, and deliciously unexpected pleasure. For the first time in years, Gemma is discovering what happens when she stops saying maybe and starts saying yes.

But her friends are already taking credit for her romantic transformation, and Alice has a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity that could take her away for two years.

With the flight home approaching, neither woman can keep pretending this is just a holiday.

Because falling in love wasn't on the itinerary.

And staying in love might be the bravest thing either of them has ever done.

A hilarious, heartfelt, deliciously steamy standalone sapphic romantic comedy featuring two women in their forties, bisexual awakening, found family, a spectacular Mediterranean escape, and a guaranteed happily-ever-after.
