“You and I weren’t born into the luxury of a peaceful world, but I’ll be damned if we don’t create one. Or we’ll die trying, and that will have to be enough.”

Kaius Styx, Prince of the Drevarian Vampires, and Lyssara Rowen, his hired vigilante assassin, have found themselves in a world-altering predicament after an attempt to overthrow the Order of Nymesia. Their mission set off a chain-reaction, landing them, their friends and their family in an even more precarious position than before.

The Drakaina are officially missing, the Vampires are working to forge a shaky alliance with the Fae rebels in Amata, and a secret objective from the Nymesian Army threatens to derail their already treacherous plans. Lyssara and Kaius must decide which item on their growing list of problems to tackle first, all while dealing with decades of trauma and nurturing their budding relationship.

The Ember Luminis follows the ambitious duo on a perilous quest guided by Drevarian legends and myths. They venture into the depths of an enchanted jungle, cross rivers powered by insidious magic, and fight their way through bloody battles of wit and politics. Met with danger at every turn, Lyssara, Kaius, and their closest friends are forced to make impossible decisions in a desperate bid to protect the safety of their people and the future of their world.
