What is the gospel of God proclaimed in the New Testament? What does it mean for the life of a Christian—not only at conversion, but every day?

In this book, Sigurd Bratlie explores the biblical message of the gospel and demonstrates that God's gospel is far more than the forgiveness of sins. Drawing extensively from Scripture, he explains how the gospel calls believers to the obedience of faith, sanctification, and a new life in Jesus Christ.

The author examines key biblical themes including the grace of God, the obedience of faith, victory over sin, life in Christ, the New Covenant, the power of the Holy Spirit, the body of Christ, and partaking of the divine nature. Throughout the book, he emphasizes that the gospel is not only the message of salvation but also God's transforming power, enabling believers to live according to His will.

The Gospel of God is written for readers who seek a deeper understanding of the Bible's teaching on the gospel, God's grace, and practical Christian living. It is well suited for personal Bible study, devotional reading, and small-group discussion.
