Some kisses are worth waiting a lifetime for.

Isla Bennett has spent years travelling the world, studying the ocean, and convincing herself that freedom is all she needs. Returning to Tideglass Bay was supposed to be a temporary stop—not a journey straight back into the heart of everything she left behind.

Especially Tom Reed.

At forty-two, Tom has a lighthouse to look after, a ten-year-old daughter who keeps him on his toes, and a life built around being the dependable one. Romance is the last complication he needs.

But Isla has always been different.

They grew up sharing secrets, seaside adventures, and one almost-kiss that neither of them has ever completely forgotten.

When a summer coastal event brings them together again, their comfortable friendship begins to change. Between lighthouse duties, unexpected mishaps, and a little girl who notices far more than the adults realise, the distance between friendship and love grows dangerously small.

Yet Tom has a family to protect, and Isla's career may soon take her far from the bay once again.

Is one extraordinary summer enough to turn a lifetime of almosts into something real?

A tender, funny, and uplifting British seaside romance featuring childhood friends, a devoted single dad, slow-burning attraction, found family, and the courage to take a chance on love.

Return to Tideglass Bay, where the lighthouse watches over the harbour, everyone has an opinion, and sometimes the love you've been searching for has been waiting beside you all along.

A complete standalone romance with a happily-ever-after ending. Book two in the Tideglass Bay series.
