Story is to Chloe hopes to find a place for her work in the fashion market and build a future around her talent.

Story is to around Chloe's ambition to design women's purses in 2026. Story will shows, what is Chloe willing to risk to turn her first original purse into a business?

On Monday, a broken zipper had made Chloe late for marketing class at Bell University. Her sketchbook slid onto the wet pavement, soaking a corner of her newest drawing.

On the board, Professor Ellis had written: What problem does your product solve?

Chloe had drawn purses for years, but rarely drawn one open.

She majored in marketing and took apparel design electives at the Pennsylvania university. Evening shifts at Marigold Bags paid her rent. Every few days, she changed the shop window, arranging bright totes, small purses, and evening bags beneath the spotlights.

That afternoon she placed a yellow backpack beside a violet clutch. Her manager, Mrs. Alvarez, stepped back from the glass.

'Where does your eye go first?'

'Everywhere,' Chloe admitted.

'Choose somewhere.'

She gave a coral shoulder bag the center. A woman and her teenage daughter stopped, pointed at different bags, and came inside.

Her phone vibrated with the studio supply list. She checked her bank account and stopped smiling.

On the bus, she shaded her drawing's curved flap red, avoiding the rain-soaked corner. In Tuesday's sewing lab, Professor Patel assigned a lined zipper pouch.

Chloe wanted to begin her red purse.

Instead, she struggled to wind a bobbin.

Her zipper rippled, catching the lining between its teeth.

Patel turned the pouch inside out. 'Your measurements are fine. Look where the lining sits.'

Using the zipper foot, Chloe had sewn too close to the teeth. She unpicked the seam, basted the layers to stop them shifting, and tried again. After pressing the fabric away from the zipper, she topstitched it so the lining stayed clear. This time the slider traveled smoothly.

Around her, classmates moved on. Maya was boxing the corners of a second pouch. Chloe hid her damaged practice piece under the table. Maya reached for it. 'Mine did that yesterday. Can I see?' In textiles class, they compared canvas, cotton twill, leather, and silk. Chloe's favorite red silk collapsed without support. Patel suggested testing support layers on scraps. After work, Chloe sewed the silk over a firmer backing. The first sample puckered; a finer needle and gentler handling improved the next. She wrote every change in her notebook.

At midnight, she added the price of the silk to her materials list. Then she crossed out the full silk body. She could afford one small piece for the curved flap, if she cut it correctly. Wednesday's window paired a turquoise tote with an orange crossbody, suggesting a mother and daughter.

An older customer chose the crossbody for herself.

'My granddaughter hates orange,' the woman said cheerfully.

Chloe erased an age label from her marketing notes that evening. Professor Ellis had told them to interview customers. She needed to listen longer.
