Many things in Italy have changed in the past 20 years. Smoking is permitted in stores, restaurants or bars now. Phones and cell phone rates are lower affordable to most people.</p><p>There are good and bad things and people everywhere. Things change and many things remain the same. As I look back through my digital journal, I cannot help notice I had been subjected to some of the same suffering ancient writers wrote about, due to some very sneaky and treacherous behind-my-back ruthless behavior from others. Some events I write about were so outlandish a person would have to surmise that it could not all be attributed to bad luck.
