Fifteen Key Ideas

First: Digital Capitalism

Digital Capitalism Today: Ownership of digitalization and artificial intelligence tools is concentrated in a handful of monopolies backed by major powers. Their domination extends from the economy to warfare, repression and the shaping of consciousness.

The Digital Revolution and Class Contradiction: The digital revolution can reduce working hours and expand access to knowledge, yet capital's control over its tools and benefits deepens class inequality.

The Non-Neutrality of Artificial Intelligence, Platforms and Digital Applications: These technologies operate within capitalist relations of production. The central question is: Who owns them, who directs them, and whose interests do they serve?

Shaping Consciousness and Voluntary Digital Servitude: Algorithms shape consciousness and behavior according to corporate interests, while voluntary digital dependency continues to expand.

Repression, Killing and Digital Fascism: Surveillance and military targeting systems enable new forms of killing and repression. The alliance between the far right and technology monopolies increases the dangers of digital fascism.

Second: The Digital Left, the Foundations of Renewal and the Alternatives

The Digital Left: It draws on the socialist heritage, particularly Marxism as a living analytical method. Just as Marx and Engels analyzed capitalism using the tools of their time, the Left today must analyze digital capitalism.

Intellectual and Organizational Renewal: Intellectual renewal moves from reality to theory. Organizational renewal expands member participation, strengthens women's and young people's leadership, and promotes collective, horizontal structures.

Integrating Digital Struggle and On-the-Ground Action: Digital struggle strengthens on-the-ground action. The Left's strength lies in transforming online solidarity into tangible collective action.

Leftist Autonomy and Its Five Pillars: Leftist autonomy rests on political, organizational, financial, media and digital independence. Digital autonomy requires gradually overcoming dependence on capitalist platforms.

Digital Socialism and Social Justice: Technology enables democratic planning and fairer wealth distribution. The path to digital socialism distinguishes between the long-term goal of social ownership of all means of production, including digital ones, and achievable steps towards it.

Third: The Digital Left International

The Necessity of a Digital Left International: Leftist forces acting alone struggle to confront transnational monopolies controlling data and platforms. An international framework is needed to coordinate common struggles worldwide.

Pluralism, Autonomy and Voluntary Cooperation: The International respects pluralism and organizational autonomy, providing a voluntary framework for cooperation and joint action.

Shared Digital Infrastructure and Practical Solidarity: Building the International requires independent, shared digital tools and platforms, turning solidarity into practical cooperation supporting labor, feminist and human rights struggles.

Knowledge and Technology as Public Rights Under Democratic Oversight: AI development must be subject to democratic social oversight, involving workers and users in decisions and advancing laws that protect data and limit monopolies.

Towards an Effective Digital Left International: The transition to practice begins with flexible networks and shared digital projects. The Digital Left International represents one of the tactics of struggle against digital capitalism and has become the most important dimension of internationalist work, as digital space has emerged as one of the main arenas of class struggle.
