Sometimes the smallest moments lead us toward the biggest changes.

In Trust the Nudge, Lanie B. Meyer shares a heartfelt collection of intimate letters to Bea, her beloved German Shepherd whose journey from family pet to therapy dog and assistance dog transformed both of their lives.

Through stories of love, courage, loss, and healing, Lanie explores the quiet wisdom animals bring into our lives and the unexpected ways they help us discover our own strength. Bea’s unwavering loyalty became a source of comfort and guidance as Lanie navigated illness, independence, identity, and a new understanding of what it means to live with purpose.

Each letter offers a reflection on the lessons Bea taught her: how to trust yourself, embrace change, listen to the quiet inner voice that calls you forward, and find hope even when life takes an unexpected turn.

Inside, you’ll discover reflections on:

The powerful bond between humans and animals
Finding resilience through life’s challenges
Navigating chronic illness and personal transformation
The healing connection between people and assistance dogs
Recognizing the gentle nudges that guide us toward growth

A moving tribute to the animals who leave pawprints on our hearts, Trust the Nudge is a story of love, recovery, and the invisible paths that lead us home to ourselves.

For anyone who has ever loved a dog, faced a difficult season, or needed a reminder that healing can arrive in unexpected ways, this book offers a companion for the journey.
