Two midlife witches. One enchanted antique. A party that doesn't know when to end.

Vivian Roy and Daphne Rue have been best friends since the alphabet threw them together in first grade. They've buried Daphne's husband, survived Vivian's divorce, raised their daughters side by side, and built the best antiques business on Bayberry Island — all without making a fuss about the witch part.

Then they buy a rare Art Deco bar cabinet for a fifth of what it's worth, from a man who can't get it out of his house fast enough.

So they throw a party!

By ten o'clock the guests are bidding seven figures, dancing the Charleston, and heading for the water without a stitch on. By midnight the Coast Guard is involved.

All because a hundred years ago, a French witcher enchanted the cabinet for the woman he loved: a Jazz Age hostess who threw the best parties on the Eastern Seaboard, and who died mid-toast at one of them.

She isn't finished having a good time. And she has no intention of letting a little thing like death spoil the party.
