The bioweapon virus that doesnt make sense but it does

Viral Deceit warns of the dangers of an intentional virus release. In this pre-dystopian novella, the death of the old man thrusts Ellie into the Chief Scientist role at the Genetic Bioweapon Lab. Her intelligence and hard work help advance the research, but she learns through her boss, Than, that leadership is losing patience. The ensuing changes are hard on her personal relationship, but Remy loves her intellect, her wit, her beauty. When Ellie is approached by an exceptional young scientist with deep concerns, Than must finally be honest with her. Ellie and Remy struggle to deal with their new reality, and Ellie is left to wonder what she has done.

Stefan Kbi spins a subtly horrifying tale of maniacal leaders, brilliant scientists and entangled family. Trepidation lies in the realization that what is presented as fiction is likely underway. The message rings true: this research must be taken more seriously.
